Meet The Team
Minnie Dickens
Battle Production currently works with playwright and director Minnie Dickens on a contractual basis. Minnie has appeared in productions such as Choices and Demon Academy and is an accomplished writer, director, and performer with over 16 years of experience in drama ministry.
She has written, directed, and starred in plays and skits for numerous organizations and events. Minnie holds a degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Zartisha Davis
In 2014, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey by establishing Dance n2 Fitness Studio in Wilson, North Carolina. This venture allowed me to combine my passion for dance with the desire to promote fitness and well-being in my community.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach at various organizations. For example, I have provided dance instruction for employees at companies such as Cox Beverage. In addition, I have brought line dancing to after-school programs for youth and teens, including those at Darden Middle School, Sipnaya, Vera Pope, and Y-gig, a commitment I continue to this day.
My teaching encompasses all levels and a variety of line dance styles. I am grateful for the opportunity to bring joy, happiness, and fun into people’s lives through dance.
One of my greatest rewards is witnessing the excitement on my students’ faces when they master a dance. Knowing that they share their new skills with their families or confidently join seasoned dancers at events truly fills my heart with joy.
I continue to be contracted by the City of Wilson for my services, a relationship that began around 2012. Additionally, I have made history in several areas as a Black female in my hometown, further motivating me to inspire others through my work.
